First Post

So I have been in Seattle for three days now and so far I love it. I drove here from Colorado which took about 21/2 days and that last one was the hardest. I was coming over Snoqualmie Pass and there was a major accident. We were stuck in a snow storm for 2 hours which compared to snow storms I have been caught in in Colorado should have been nothing but there were a couple of different factors this time. One I was in a very old RV, two my gas take was on empty for the last 45 mins we were stopped and three after the traffic finally got moving again the next three exits were closed because of accidents and not being plowed. I made it down the mountain to North Bend on the last little wisps of fumes from my gas tank. That was an exciting day. Then when I arrived the weather was pleasant enough.
My second day here I expected rain but low and behold my first day in the reportedly "rainy city" was spent outside enjoying the sunshine and the lovely weather. However yesterday it snowed (I thought I was escaping that by leaving Colorado but I seem to have brought it with me) and this lovely Sunday morning they were expecting snow but the skies are clear. So today I plan on finally going into the city and exploring. I can't wait!!
